FALL 2010

Dear CFI Patron,
Welcome to our Fall 2010 programming. From September 17 to mid-November we’re offering mini-retrospectives of the works of world cinema masters Michael Haneke and Francois Truffaut, as well as Canadian experimental filmmakers Penny McCann and Chris Gehman. We’re also featuring an evening of contemporary Chilean documentary, with filmmakers in attendance.
Free screenings include YANG YANG from Taiwan, two films about the October Crisis of 1970, and our annual Festival Japan screenings of a quartet of films from contemporary Japanese cinema. And our Ottawa International Animation Festival (presented at various venues around Ottawa and Gatineau from October 20 to 24) will present a special evening at 395 Wellington on Saturday, October 23rd.
Please note that our ticket prices are increasing for the first time in seven years. The cost of an annual CFI Membership will be $15.00. Individual screening tickets for the general public will be $12.00, while CFI Members, Seniors, and Students will pay $8.00. (All prices include HST.)
Bon cinema!
