Donate to the Canadian Film Institute

At the Canadian Film Institute, we believe in the power of film to move us, challenge us, and bring us together. Through our festivals and year-round programming, we champion daring, world-class cinema that sparks conversation and inspires change.

From the internationally recognized Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF), to the thought-provoking cinema of the International Film Festival of Ottawa (IFFO), to the community-building European Union Film Festival (EUFF), our mission is to connect audiences with exceptional storytelling and the people who create it.

But ticket sales and government support don’t cover the cost of what we do.

Your donation helps us:

• Showcase groundbreaking films and emerging artists

• Offer free youth programs and community screenings

• Support Canadian creators and cultural dialogue
