A heart-warming Colombian drama about three old friends from Bogotá: a champion chess player with a penchant for gambling, a watchmaker who refuses to close his shop, and a Spanish homeopath obsessed with poker. Day after day they split their time between a legendary chess club, a casino, and their favourite coffee shop. Finding solace in their predictable routine, they refuse to face their failures at any cost. But when the comfort of their lifestyle is jeopardized, each learns that in life, like in love, it’s never too late to ask for another chance. Quirky and charming, Santa’s debut feature film had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival prestigious Directors’ Fortnight Opening Gala.
